This bill is an important move to uphold the rights of women in Tasmania to make decisions regarding their reproduction and to access safe, legal and affordable terminations within the State.
Termination should be a medical, not a criminal decision. No woman facing such choices should be subject to fear as to the criminality of their decision, to public stigma, or to unnecessary financial or social hardship as a result of their choice.
Current legislation covering abortion in Tasmania is outdated, cumbersome, confusing and dangerous both for women and medical practitioners.

People need to get a life and stop complaining about and hating on Taylor Swift. She gets more negative attention for dating a ton of guys and writing about them than One Direction does for telling girls they are beautiful if they have low self-esteem or even than Chris Brown does for being a perpetrator of domestic violence.

TSwift’s lyrics (with some exceptions, albeit) are harmless especially in comparison with the other incredibly misogynistic and insensitive lyrics out there.

I’m tired of listening to people essentially slut-shaming her because of the number of men she has dated and laughing at her for only writing about those experiences. Maybe you don’t like her songs, fine. Don’t listen to them.

Can we also talk about the expectation that female celebrities be role models for young girls? Maybe I’m wrong, but I don’t think music moguls weed people out for not exhibiting role-model qualities. She’s an artist, not Mother Teresa (btw I have all of the love for Mother).

Disliking Taylor is fine, but being vocally and cyber-vocally hateful about her is unnecessary and I might even venture to guess misogynistic. Some may find this comment radical, but I wonder if TSwift is hated because she’s a she.
